Jodie Johnson Motz, President


Jodie Johnson Motz, President of JJ Hospitality Solutions, has spent 20 years honing her experience in a wide variety of roles in the hospitality industry.  After graduating with a degree in Interior Design from Texas Tech University, Jodie began her career as a designer with Looney & Associates in both their Dallas & Chicago offices. In a short period of time, Jodie had progressed in the industry and was designated the Director of Design for Omni Hotels, where she oversaw capital projects.  Later in her career, Jodie became the National Sales Director for Contract Décor International, which was a pivotal move in the success her career sees today. 


Each year, Jodie has consistently increased the growth of her company by 25%.  Through hard work, dedication and relentless client representation, Jodie has created a company that not only serves her clients but serves her industry community as a whole.  Jodie was on the NEWH Dallas Board of Directors for eight years, which includes her role as chapter President in 2018. After starting her career in Dallas, Jodie moved to the Washington DC Metro Area in 2019 and is looking forward to working with and supporting the hospitality community in her new territory.


When not on the job, Jodie spends her time relaxing with family and friends, getting in a good barre workout or on a walk with her dog Samson on the local trails.
